How AIM Coaching Center collects, uses and protects personal data, including children's data.

Parents: how we handle children's data

Version v1-2026-05 · effective 2026-05-04

Effective from May 2026.

What we collect

  • Account: name, email, role, your coaching-center batch assignment.
  • Attempt data: every question we show you, your answer, your time spent, whether the answer was correct.
  • Mastery snapshot: a per-topic mastery score we compute from the above. Used to personalise practice.
  • Wallet & payments: credit balance, top-up history, payment provider transaction IDs (we do not store card numbers — Razorpay holds those).
  • Device & session: IP address at sign-in time, browser user-agent, sign-in timestamps. Used for security and audit.

What we do with it

  • Power your dashboard, analytics, and adaptive Smart Practice.
  • Surface percentile and topper-comparison views (your name is not shown to peers — only aggregate ranks).
  • Send transactional email (account events, payment receipts).

What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not share individual student data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not use your attempt content to train external AI models without explicit consent.

How long

  • Account & attempt data: retained for as long as you have an account, plus 12 months after account closure for legal/audit.
  • Payment records: 7 years (Indian tax law).
  • Audit logs: 24 months.
